“Higher Ground”

A 10-week in-depth Bible study on finding intimacy with the Lord. Sheryl invites you on an incredible journey with God to the high places; the place where He is calling you so that you might come to know Him more intimately than ever before. He’s summoning you to come away with Him, to sit before His throne, and to listen intently to His voice. He has much that He wants you to learn from Him. The book of Deuteronomy serves as the backdrop for this Bible study and it will guide you to a deeper intimacy with the One who died for you. Discerning the Voice of God by Pricilla Sheir

Bridge of Hope is at Scotts Correctional Prison in Plymouth and an extension of Prison Fellowship Ministries. Christian mentors are needed to share Christ with women in their last year of prison to become a trusted friend and to bridge the gap when they re-enter society. This ministry is a short-term care ministry. Helping hands provides meals, transportation and/or prayer support for our church family who are in need of during a time of care and concern. Ladies of James is founded on the James 1:27 passage of scripture: “Pure and lasting religion in the sight of God our Father meant that we must care for orphans and WIDOWS in their troubles, and refuse to let the world corrupt us.”
We, at Women’s Ministries come along side our loved ones - our widows and embrace where there are in their station of life. Opportunities are given for grief counseling, lifestyle planning, social outreach, household helps and spiritual welfare.

This ministry is a biblically based parenting program designed for mothers with children infancy through grade school. It includes quality instructions on parenting, interaction with other moms, and time together in the Bible. We meet the 1st and 3rd Thursdays from 9:00-11:30 am, September through May. Child care is included in the fee for this program. There are also fun activities planned for the summer months. PACE, stands for “Post Abortion Counseling and Education,” which is a group focusing on helping women heal from a past abortion using biblical principles and applications. A Ministry to Women in Jail
Our purpose is to share God’s love and, by His grace and His Word, bring hope to hurting women in the Wayne County Jail. We meet with the women each week for Bible study, sharing the Gospel, and for prayer. We leave the Woodside parking lot every Wednesday morning at 11:45 a.m. E-mail Judy Constance at j2d2photo@yahoo.com  if you’d like to volunteer or become a prayer partner for this ministry.

A ministry of care and encouragement for women on the mission field supported by Woodside Bible Church. This is based on the approach that they go for us ~ these women are the heroes and we honor them.
