Brief History: I was born in Plainwell, Michigan, but from ages 0 to 10, my family lived in Cooper, Michigan (small hamlet North of Kalamazoo); age 10 and after - raised in Climax, Michigan (small town east of Kalamazoo)
Started at Woodside: My family and I came to Woodside from St. Thomas, Ontario in February of 1997. In Ontario, we had served for 13 years as Minister of Education at Faith Baptist Church and Principal of Faith Christian Academy.
Christian Testimony: We faithfully attended Cooper Baptist Church as a family and my Sunday school teacher led me to the Lord after a lesson one Sunday morning when I was nine years old.
Major Influences: When I was a teen my Pastor, Dr. Arnold Fair, had a large impact on my spiritual journey. Then, in Seminary, one of my Professors, Dr. Gerry Benn, was very influential in shaping my direction and passion for ministry.
Ministry Focus: To provide leadership in helping the ministries of this church function in an orderly fashion.
Ministry Goals: To provide oversight for the day-to-day administration of the church and assist other ministries in the successful attainment of their ministry goals.
