Brief History: I have lived in Michigan my entire life. After graduating from broadcasting school I enjoyed a 17 year career working in broadcasting at several Christian radio stations as a radio announcer/engineer/producer. My wife Kay and I married in 1989. God sent a blessing our way in 1995. Our son Corey has been the joy of our life, despite his many handicaps. We thank God for Corey as he shows us daily how to share a pure and unconditional love towards others in a way that the bible commands us to do.

Started at Woodside: I began attending Woodside in 1976. I have been involved in Woodside's audio ministry since 1981 and have been on staff as the Audio Director since 2003.

Christian Testimony: I grew up in a Christian home and attended church from a very young age. When I was in 5th grade our elementary school allowed a bible club to meet after school in one of the class rooms. We used to listen to a couple of elderly ladies tell bible stories and do singing along with flannel graph boards. At one meeting they spoke about John 3:16 and how we could know where we would spend eternity. It was at bible club that I accepted Christ into my life and truly understood what it meant to have a relationship with Him.

Major Influences: My Mom, Grandmother, Chuck Swindoll, and the music of many, many, many Christian artists over the years.

Ministry Focus: To help bring others to Christ by providing a technical conduit through which the Word of God can be clearly heard through both voice and music.

Ministry Goals: To enhance the whole worship experience for the people at Woodside so that nothing hinders their ability to communicate freely with God. To always strive to give our best in terms of talent and a willing/servant spirit. To also, maximize the resources that God has provided Woodside with in terms of audio equipment and be good stewards of those resources too.
