I went to Pensacola for one semester then could not afford to go back. I then worked for Nordstrom for 7 years and while there was both a shipping and custodial manager. Nordstrom is also where I met my future wife Shannon.

Started at Woodside: September 22 of 2003

Christian Testimony: I grew up in a Christ centered home with Christian parents who took us to Fourth Baptist Church in Minneapolis,MN, where I went to the Christian day school until fourth grade. At the age of five, I repeated the prayer my Sunday school teacher was praying and thought I was now a Christian. During the next five years, we moved a lot but still attended church at Fourth Baptist. We then moved out of Minneapolis. To Coon Rapids when I was ten and that would be are final move until I moved out of the house. We continued to attend church at Fourth Baptist until we found a church in Coon Rapids that we liked and had a school. I then started 6th grade through my Senior year at Coon Rapids Christian Day School and graduated second in my class of two which the one ahead of me was a graduating Junior. It was at the age of 16 while on a canoe trip with my best friend's church that he almost drowned and that made me realize that I knew he would have gone to heaven, and I truly was not sure. I know I prayed the prayer at age five, but I then knew it did not come from my own heart. So that evening, I went forward after the Message and gave my life to the Lord. I now have a passion to see our young people come to know the Lord as their Savior. My years as an adult have led me to work in Awana as a Leader and also with Middle School students at both Kensington Community Church and now Woodside for a combined 8 years. I pray the Lord will enable me to serve many more years at Woodside Bible Church.

Major Influences: My parents Charles and Renee Hime, Grandfather Elmer Hime, Aunt and Uncle Jerome and Karen Hime

Ministry Focus: To continue to be an impact in the Student Ministry at Woodside Bible Church

Ministry Goals: If the Lord would put in my path a student that I have planted the seed of salvation in his life and that I would be able to lead him to Christ.
