“To me the most meaningful part of going on the Short Term mission trip to India to help renovate the Magimai orphanage isn’t what I did or experienced, but rather what God did and what He allowed me to experience. God put out the call and said “Who will go?” and I said “Here I am God, send me” That He would choose me to serve, that God would allow me to get to know Roger, Ralph, Jim, Joe, Keith, Dave, Mano, and Shelia. I realized that God is alive and working not only in my life, but all over the world, and that He allows me to participate. Me! God chose a sinner like me! I got to and to experience Gods love more deeply than ever before while serving Him in India . Perhaps I didn’t know it at the time I was at the orphanage, but as I reflect on the mission trip, that is what I think about most.”
