Samson, Dr. Sharon

Sharon served with Society of International Ministries (SIM).  She was in Liberia for six years, but was evacuated because of the civil war.  Two years later, she went to Ethiopia and taught at the Evangelical Theological College in Addis Ababa.  It was during her time there that she received her Ph.D. from the Oxford Center for Mission Studies.  Seeing the need for study materials, she completed a nine year program of indigenous Sunday School Curriculum for African and urban children.  It is written in both English and Amharic.  Using indigenous cultural mechanisms, it provides rich tools for teaching Bible truths to children.  Her heart is for the uneducated to be able to teach the Bible to those they work with in the church.
