Kirk and Laura serve in Kabale, Uganda helping train and establish church leadership in the southwest regions of Uganda.  This means they get to spend lots of time training, mentoring, problem solving and praying with church leaders.  Laura also leads a Bible Study with several other women in the town church as well as home-schools their boys.  Kirk shares the WorldVenture Uganda field leadership responsibilities with one of his colleagues.

Laura got her BA in Elementary Education from Hope College.  Kirk got a BA in History from Hope, a Master of Divinity from Denver Seminary and is working on his dissertation in Spiritual Formation from Columbia International University.
