In November of 2000  Andy, Holly and their three children; Abigail, Andrew, and Noah moved to Kyiv and entered SEND’s Russian language program. Upon completion of language study Andy began a teaching and discipleship ministry at Kyiv Theological Seminary. He is currently the Director of KTS’s Pastoral Leadership Program. We are privilege to attend “Revival Church” and assist the growing body there. Andy maintains a regular preaching ministry and participates in our churches’ Bible Institute for lay leaders.

Holly’s primary role is in the home where she oversees Abigail in national school and homeschools Andrew. She also enjoys hosting students and friends in our home; and teaching English as outreach ministry.

The Rist family says they are in Kyiv in obedience to Christ and it is a privilege to be a part of His work in Eurasia, as He calls men to Himself. The blood of Jesus “purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.” (Rev. 5:9).
