Virgil and Lois Reeves are both originally from Michigan.  They met on a summer team with Youth For Christ in France.  Nine years later, after college, seminary and language school, they returned to France as career missionaries.  In France for 22 years, they were involved in church ministries, a local Christian radio station, a French Christian publishing company and mission leadership.  They also ministered in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (then called Zaire) for 6 months in 1991.

In 2002, Virgil was invited to join the team of International Directors at the home office of CrossWorld (formerly UFM, International) in the Philadelphia area.  He oversees the Cross World missionaries and ministries in Africa (5 countries), part of Europe (6 countries) and Quebec.  His ministry includes training team leaders, encouraging Church-planting through partnerships in Europe, Africa and Quebec, as well as providing pastoral care and direction to the missionaries in those regions.  He also continues to teach modular courses in two Bible schools in Europe.  Lois serves in a team that ministers to the missionary women of CrossWorld.  She also travels with Virgil when possible and brings with her an important element and perspective to the pastoral care of our missionary families.

The Reeves have two married daughters and three grandsons.
