Diane has been a missionary with WorldVenture in Cote d’Ivoire since 1992.  As a family nurse practitioner, she is the director of the outpatient clinic.  She also enjoys providing physical and spiritual care to patients.  Since July 2007, WorldVenture has added an AIDS program to the clinic and hospital.  This has introduced many opportunities to share the hope in Jesus Christ to patients without much physical hope.  During this term, Diane also taught nursing students part-time.  Since graduation in March 2008, it has been encouraging to see them give good nursing care and share Christ’s love with the patients.  As of June 2008, Diane became director of nursing in addition to her responsibilities in the clinic.  It has been challenging to have such a heavy load.  She is mentoring an African R.N. to become director of the clinic in 2009.  In the meantime, please pray for strength, health, wisdom, and perseverance so that Diane would model professionalism, godly character, and Christlikeness.
