Tim and Onilda Broach have two children, Mikela is 8 and Javier is 6.  Onilda was born and raised in Eastern Cuba.  Her parents were pastors who lived through the more difficult stages for the church at the beginning of the Revolution.   Tim was born and raised in Quito, Ecuador to missionary parents (for the old timers, his mom is Helen Savage).  Both Tim and Onilda were in full-time ministry as singles.  Then in their late 30′s, Tim went to Cuba for a Christian Education conference and met Onilda!  They were married in 1998, lived in Quito, Ecuador for their first years of marriage and moved to Santiago de Cuba in 2002.

The Broaches serve with HCJB Global as directors of Apoyo Cuba, partnering with the Cuban church in formational process with leaders. The Apoyo-Cuba team is multiplying training programs throughout Eastern Cuba, specifically in the areas of Family Ministry, Christian Education, Leadership and Christian Counseling.  Tim also teaches in the Baptist seminary and Onilda has a significant ministry with women and children in the local community.
