Shirley Chumley

Shirley was with AIM Internation for over 40 years. She has served in the Congo, the Comoro Islands, and most recently Bristol, England.

Shirley left Bristol, England and has been home in the States for nearly 4 years, currently residing in Clinton Township, MI.  She has found a church to become involved in and Shirley started teaching English again and made a quick recovery from a complete knee replacement. She has several students that she teaches and provides individual tutoring in English for them. In 2009 she has 21 students from 4 continents and the Pacific Islands. They have had to start a waiting list due to high demand and a lack of new tutors. She had a report of a former student from China who recalled what a huge help that ELL ( English Language Learners) was and how it helped her commit her life to Christ.
