FaithWorks is the title of Woodside’s fall 2011 teaching series across all campuses. This series will provide valuable life lessons from the Book of James.

Faith in Christ connects us to resurrection power. However, many believers live defeated, confused lives. We succumb too easily to temptation and get overwhelmed by life. Instead of being motivated by love, we get caught up in the world and let greed and selfishness have their way.

James shows us how to live with authority and power; how to have a faith that makes a difference. He shows us what happens when we cooperate with God and faith goes to work.

James is one of the most practical books of the Bible when it comes to living the Christian life and making a difference and this multi-part series, which runs through early December, will help us all examine our “works” with the lens of faith.
