“So, what’s your church all about?” If someone were to ask you this question what would you say? “We’re all about Jesus.” Or, “We’re committed to the Bible.” Lately, I’ve asked this question of many in our church family, and while most people respond with good answers, they rarely respond with the same answer. We need to know our mission, have the ability to communicate it clearly, and know our part in moving it forward. While it’s been said many different ways by the church since the time of Jesus, our mission is the mission He gave us. And our new paraphrase is this: HELPING PEOPLE BELONG TO CHRIST, GROW IN CHRIST AND REACH THE WORLD FOR CHRIST! BELONG-GROW-REACH. Three SIMPLE words, that’s what Woodside is about. This message series allows us the opportunity to biblically explore the mission of God and how we, as a church family, fulfill it. We pray and trust this will be an exciting, inspirational and informative series that will help propel our church forward on mission.
