The camp provides Kindergarten through eighth grade children with excellent soccer training, while also learning about life’s greatest goal – knowing Jesus.
OnGoal founder/president Tom Fite has joined with churches throughout the United States to reach thousands of young people for the Lord through his OnGoal Soccer ministry.
Tom’s passion for the game led him to become an all-state High School player in Cincinnati, and later a star performer at Cedarville University where he was a two-year captain and team MVP. He also played professionally on three teams, including the AISA Indoor Soccer National Champion Memphis Storm.
Assisting Fite with the running of OnGoal camps is Roger Swigart, former head soccer coach at Cedarville University and player/coach of the Dayton Geminis.
The 30 or more coaches recruited by Fite and Swigart, are skilled players who love soccer, kids and Jesus C
hrist. They teach the kids to play with passion, skill, honor and purpose.
Separated into teams by age, the kids participate in skills training, exciting games and World Cup competition throughout the week.
Each day before lunch, every team engages in Bible time and discussions with the coaches regarding the theme of the camp. After lunch, campers will participate in skits, songs, jokes, and a challenge from the camp director.
The Kindergarten and first grade camps are scheduled for 9 a.m. through 12 p.m. at both locations. The second grade though eighth grade camps run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
